And with it the Beach Bum pack. There's 4 new vehicles, all available for free via the in-game web stores (once you have the pack installed): - Dock Tease Speeder - 4 seat spedboat, reminds me a lot of the ones in Vice City. (Don't forget that delivery costs will still apply; they seem to be lower now though.) - Southern San Andreas Super Autos BF Bifta - VW Beach Buggy; what the BF Injection used to be like, open topped and outrageous. Canis Kalahari - Citroën Méhari; it's not even mildly disguised, I think the only difference between the real & GTA vehicles is the headlights. Bravado Paradise - mural-painted Rumpo with rear passenger space & windows. Comes with a choice of 4 murals: Surf, Shark, Logger, Octopus. (Don't forget you'll need to replace a car if your garage is full.) The game will (as usual) prompt you to update to the new version on load, and the new content is automatically included into your game; there's no "pack" in the store, just hit up the websites & buy! |

Things we've learned so far, culled from the Facebook discussion: "Illegal" vehicles are removed from your garage the first time you enter it. If you can manage to never enter it, and rely solely on the mechanic delivering them, then you can theoretically retain them indefinitely; Azrakoth has fallen foul of this already by accidentally entering his garage & losing his jet I lost the FIBs as well, but they're not as drastic. NEW: Trevor's truck counts as unkeepable now; I've just tried grabbing a new one from the Dirt Road job & I'm not allowed to park it. Franklin's Buffalo has (so far) escaped the cull. The new Paradise van is based on the old Rumpo. The Paradise is tunable, the Rumpo is not, but you CAN own Rumpos now. Pegasus deliver fees have fallen to $200 per vehicle. Lots of free clothes (many not in stores, only in your wardrobe), tattoos and 2 new hairstyles - this means easy RP for a couple of Awards, if you need a boost (for a new, low level char it's a couple of levels worth of RP). The new pistol uses the same ammo as all the others, but it costs MUCH less; if you need to resupply your pistols, buy it this way. Glitching to sell/insure/clone cars seems to have been entirely eradicated - hopefully someone will find something soon, but everything we've tried has failed. When you order a 2-tone car through the web sites, it turns up entirely in the colour you ordered rather than with a random Secondary colour. The Elegy still has an insurance cost, but all the new cars are free to replace if destroyed. Random traffic seem to be more varied now. I'm seeing a wider selection of vehicles from a larger selection of categories wherever I am. I've even seen a Limo on the street. |

I wonder why there is still an insurance cost for the Elegy, but not the others?

I think it's because if you don't have Social Club membership, you might be able to buy it?
Trevor's truck is now in the store, so losing the one from the mission isn't such a big deal.

Did anyone else have their strength stat rest back to the original level? I spent a bunch of time maxing it out and now its back to the original level. It's getting increasingly boring to be playing this game. Still no heists, still a ton of glitches. Everybody is off to PS4 and COD.

You already know I lost mine but so has everyone else I've spoken to about this so it's not just us. |
